Hello Everyone and welcome to my blog. In a blog people always notices the images . Beautiful images always draws readers attention . So it is very important for us to include images in our blog. Your images can be crawled by search engines if you create image sitemap by a free image sitemap generator using a simple plugin which will index your image as well.
We can start with the ALT image option which we will find in the edit option of every image which we put in our blog. Give some appropriate name so that it comes comes under image search which can bring traffic to our blog.

To get all the images indexed by the search engine it is better to use an image plugin. You will find numerous image plugins in WordPress. I have only used Udinra Image Sitemap plugin so I can instruct about that.
It is very easy to use Udinra Image Plugin . Simply Install it from new plugin section and activate .
Next move to Settings> Udinra image Sitemap
You can setup few things here as
- Automatically you can generate image sitemap after each post is publishes. So it is a very essential step.
- Create gzip file sitemap-image.xml.gz
- Ping to search engines as Google , Bing and others.
You are done with creation of image sitemap. Now all you have to do is sitemap Image sitemap to Google Search console as you had previously uploaded blog sitemap to search engines.
If you do not know the process to submit sitemap to Google then you may follow the steps.
Go to Google Search Console> Crawl>Sitemaps
Click on ADD/TEST Sitemap and type the following and Submit Sitemap.
You have now successfully submitted your image sitemap to Google to get all your images indexed.
