There are some basic strict rules by adsense to get your blog approved. But if you want to earn money then you will need visitors. Your visitors only will be retained if you have a informational and high quality blog. How old the domain should be:

Earlier I heard that a domain should be minimum 6 months old in order to get adsense approved. But now I have many Indian bloggers to have their adsense approved in a month . So I hope you can too get it with a quality blog.

Minimum word limit of a post:

Your blog posts should be of 600-700 words which is considered to be a standard post. If your blog posts are exceeding more than 1000 words then well enough.

Copyrighted content:

Your blog should be 100 percent genuine as google will not approve any copy pasted content. So be yourself in whatever niche your blog is. With any copyrighted content or image it will not be approved.

Minimum Number of posts:

Your blog should be having 25-30 quality posts . I will suggest not to apply for adsense before you complete your 40th post. Before that you should concentrate on your visitors as without any visitor your adsense approval is of no use.

Root Domain:

You need to have your own domain like www.yoursite.com. Not like www.yoursite.blogspot.com or yoursite.wordpress.com

So when you have satisfied these basic guidelines then you will have your adsense approved at the first go only hopefully.  You will need enough visitors to start earning.
